Music lessons from America

 without the airfare

How do you get to Carnegie Hall?

We all know its practise, practise, and practise. But is that all?

It's not about being a musical "genius", it's about having patience, determination, and good instructions

Really good instructions

At Young Artists Music Academy, we bring world-renowned music pedagogy from the United States to the shores of New Zealand. Removing barriers of distance to extend the reach of remarkable teachers and expand your opportunities for learning

Instrument offered: Piano, Clarinet and music theory

HOW ARE WE DIFFERENT?

  • Our teachers are highly accomplished musicians with masters of music degrees or above from leading conservatories in the United States and the United Kingdom

  • Our focus is to foster complete musicianship, with the belief that being a musician is more than just learning how to play a musical instrument. We emphasized the importance of building strong fundamental musicianship through listening, experiencing, and learning about music theory and exploring the lives of amazing composers

  • For the younger music students, we use Kodaly and Orff pedagogy method. It is highly interactive, collaborative, and kinesthetic, combines several powerful techniques for developing the core skills of musicianship
